Pricing drift

What is holding your prices still costing you?

When your costs go up and your prices don't, the difference comes straight out of profit.

Revenue minus direct costs (materials, direct labor, subcontractors), as a share of revenue.

Use what your own suppliers and wages have done, if you know it.

Estimates only. Assumes all your direct costs rose at the rate you set and your prices haven't changed since. Real drift differs by product and customer; a Profit X-Ray measures it from your invoices.

Cash runway

How many months of cash do you have?

Profit on paper doesn't pay the bills. Cash in the bank does.

What actually lands in the bank, not what you invoiced.

Payroll, suppliers, rent, loan payments, owner draws: everything that leaves.

Estimates only. Assumes a typical month repeats. A 13-week cash forecast, part of the Blackex Operating Rhythm, shows the real timing week by week.

Business value

What could your business be worth?

Buyers usually price an owner-led company as a multiple of its yearly profit. You set the profit and the multiple range; we show the math.

Use what a buyer would look at: profit before interest, taxes and depreciation, with the owner's personal expenses added back.

Multiples vary widely by industry, size, growth and how much the business depends on you. Ask your CPA, banker or a broker what's usual for companies like yours.

An illustration, not a valuation or financial advice. A real value depends on your books, your market and the buyer. The Transferable Value area of the free self-check shows what usually holds a multiple down.
